    How can 1/2 teaspoon of Miracle Gro diluted in one gallon of water really feed plants.?
    It would be so diluted, in my opinion so as to be ineffective as a plant food.

    Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food is mixed at 1/2 tsp per gallon of water for indoor plants and 1 TBSP per gallon of water for outdoor plants. This application is made to indoor plants once every two weeks and outdoor every 7-14 days. The dilution recommendations are important and will provide enough food to the plant and still be very effective if following the product label instructions.

    Once Miracle-Gro granules are diluted in water, how long is the solution effective?

    We would not recommend to leave Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food diluted longer than 24 hours. Water is the carrier and leaving it as a mixed solution for longer than 24 hours may allow it to loose it's efficacy.
