If plants are experiencing drought or really dry soil, then it is suggested to water the plant before applying the product. Light to moderaterain is perfectlyfine before or after an application.Ifheavy rain or storms are predicted it is suggested to wait until the following morning once the rain has stopped to apply the product.

How can 1/2 teaspoon of Miracle Gro diluted in one gallon of water really feed plants.?
It would be so diluted, in my opinion so as to be ineffective as a plant food.

Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food is mixed at 1/2 tsp per gallon of water for indoor plants and 1 TBSP per gallon of water for outdoor plants. This application is made to indoor plants once every two weeks and outdoor every 7-14 days. The dilution recommendations are important and will provide enough food to the plant and still be very effective if following the product label instructions.

Once Miracle-Gro granules are diluted in water, how long is the solution effective?

We would not recommend to leave Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food diluted longer than 24 hours. Water is the carrier and leaving it as a mixed solution for longer than 24 hours may allow it to loose it's efficacy.

I have a plastic box with a measuring scoop that I saved, but the last box I bought had those bags not bulk like I'm used to. Not suited for measuring especially when used for in-door watering. What's UP?
