Cooking is a universal art, and each area of the world has developed their own unique methods and traditions. Each culture has its own cooking techniques, local ingredients, spices and traditional dishes. Thus, TasteAtlas has publishes a ranking of the world’s best cuisines, using a variety of criteria including over 400,000 ratings for dishes and food products, to create a list of the 100 best cuisines in the world, giving each a 5-star rating.
Leading the pack, Italy stands out as the best cuisine in the world. Next up are Japan and Greece. France takes 8th place, behind Portugal, Mexico and Indonesia.
