Unmodified recording. This is a first of season bird here, arriving the same week as Yellow Warblers and Warbling Vireos (none of these species found on April 30 in this location). Today, sunny and fairly warm (40 degrees increasing to high 50s), the catbird and many other species were singing loudly. This bird was near the top of a tree, about 7 meters up, that was just beginning to leaf out. It appeared to be in good condition. No second catbird was near it while it was singing.
