On January 1, 2022, California began mandating that California prescribers electronically prescribe all medications. To satisfy this requirement, you will need an E-Prescribing application. ScriptSure Cloud Electronic Prescribing is a web-based ERX application that satisfies the requirements you need to meet for California, the DEA and HIPAA.
What is ScriptSure Cloud E-Prescribing?
ScriptSure Cloud Electronic Prescribing is an award‐winning* web‐based application that satisfies the requirements you need to meet state requirements for every state, the DEA and HIPAA. ScriptSure is easy to use, allows you to add and store patients, select patients to prescribe for and then electronically send any prescription to virtually any pharmacy. ScriptSure is compliant with both controlled and non‐controlled prescription sending. Send to any pharmacy on the electronic network throughout the U.S. All prescriptionmedications (brand and generic), injectables, over‐the‐counter and vitamin products have been pre‐programmed for fast and easy selection. You can also add and prescribe compound medications.

What you will need:
(Approximately 30 minutes to sign‐up)
- NPI and DEA number
- Practice information (address, phone, etc)
- Credit Card for payment
- Driver’s License or Passport
- Cell phone
- Access to your email
- Name and email address for a second user who will be an admin on the account (this can be a nurse, asst., manager, colleague, relative, friend). This is required by the DEA and is called logical access control
